Farmer’s Creekside Tavern & Inn
After a ten-year renovation, Farmer’s Creekside Tavern & Inn opened mid-July of 2017. Regional food media, bloggers, and personalities were invited to tour the venue and enjoy a multi-course preview dinner with wine pairings. This resulted in a flurry of media coverage and excitement well in advance of the opening.

Thriving Families Program (TFP) – Catholic Charities of Wayne County
TFP is a grant-funded program that provides individuals and families an all-inclusive approach to improve their relationships. Three offerings include: How to Adult, Relationship Wellness, and Living a Balanced Life. Executive Director, Peter Dohr, was interviewed on Good Day Rochester (13WHAM/ FOX) with Norma Holland and and WROC-8 with Mark Gruba, and the program was featured in several printed publications. Greentopia Fruit Belt Project
Greentopia’s Fruit Belt Project was a beautification movement and collaboration with Rochester artist, Shawn Dunwoody, to create a series of large-scale, vibrantly colored, and community driven public artworks. Project goals included: giving the neighborhood a unified identity, creating jobs for local residents, bringing beauty to a historic neighborhood often highlighted for negative reasons, and inspiring long term investment and additional resources for the community. The Big Paint-Out kick off event garnered 250 volunteers from the community, five television interviews, one radio interview, and coverage in various printed publications.
Peppermint/ Asher Bridal
Peppermint was initially launched in 2010 by Rochester designer, Tanvi Asher, as a small collection created in her home studio. With a desire to start a young contemporary collection at an affordable price point, the brand has since expanded to offer a full collection of women’s sportswear featuring dresses, skirts, tops, knits and outerwear. Peppermint’s sister company, Asher Bridal, was launched in 2014 and offered custom and vintage-inspired gowns, hand-crafted in Rochester. Peppermint hosts an annual fashion showcase in the spring which typically sells out and attracts media attention across all platforms.
