About Stacey Rowe

Working with a vibrant palette, Stacey incorporates imagery from her own life, notable people and places, and pop culture. She often gives animals and inanimate objects human qualities, which creates an unconventional juxtaposition of fantasy and everyday life. There are typically multi-layered messages and humorous undertones in her paintings.

Originally from the Syracuse area, Stacey received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Nazareth College of Rochester. In addition to creating art, she works in marketing communications and public relations; and previously served as editor-at-large and a regular contributor for 585 Magazine. These storytelling abilities carry over into her art.
